The Power-Hungry Politicians want to rehabilitate the Fascist Awami League to please India, but are Silent on the Oppression of the Sincere Political Party Hizb ut Tahrir, which was the Victim of Unjust Ban by Awami Regime

“May Allāh destroy them; how are they deluded (from the truth)?” [Surah Al-Munafiqun: 4]

“There is no plan to ban Awami League” – this statement of the Chief Advisor of the interim government is causing extreme concern among the people. Because for more than 15 years, the Awami government committed unprecedented atrocities on the people, suppressed the opposition parties by abductions, murders and imprisonment in the dungeon (ayna ghor), implemented India’s conspiracy by Pilkhana massacre to make the country’s military subordinate to India, and destroyed the country’s economy through corruption and money laundering. Even the fallen Hasina is using Awami League in anti-state conspiracies while staying in India and threatening to return and take revenge on the people. When people have not yet got over the trauma of the atrocities and oppression of the fallen Awami League regime, in an interview with the news agency UNB on October 1, 2024, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said, “Awami League should not be prevented from participating in the upcoming national elections or banned as a fascist political party, because both actions will weaken democratic practices.” The Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, in response to a question from journalists at Alauddin Nagar Shiksha Palli Park Auditorium in Kumarkhali, Kushtia, on September 1, 2024, said, “They (Awami League) are the people of this country, everyone has the right to do politics. Just as it was wrong to take away our politics, we do not want to do the same for them.” When people think that Awami League is not even a political force, only because of their politics of subservience to the America and India they are supporting the rehabilitation of Awami League. Those who want to rehabilitate the Awami League after being persecuted by Hasina and the Awami League for the last 15 years, how can the country be safe in their hands?

O People! You must know that for the past 15 years Hizb ut-Tahrir has been vocal against the corruption, oppression, tyranny and anti-state activities of the Awami government and has been uncompromising in its political struggle. Aware people have witnesses that Hizb ut-Tahrir bravely stood against the conspiracy of Hasina and India in the Pilkhana massacre in 2009 and was banned by the fallen Hasina government. It has been exposing America’s colonialist project and the war against Islam in the name of war terror in Bangladesh. It has been leading the movement to establish Islamic rule, i.e. Khilafah State (Caliphate) – the aspiration of this Muslim land. O People, after the fall of the tyrant Hasina as a result of the 15-years of political struggle, in whose interest is the voice of Hizb ut-Tahrir still being silenced? When there should be no discussion of rehabilitating fascist politics, because of the subservience to America and India, attempts are being made to rehabilitate fascist politics and maintain the unjust ban on Hizb ut Tahrir; is this not hypocrisy to the people and the country? In fact, the so-called freedom of speech, freedom of opinion, pluralism are nothing but false propaganda and deception for the pretenders of democracy? Allah ﷻ says, “and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are actually liars” [Surah Al-Munafiqun: 1].

O People, Democratic political parties have accepted the Kafir Colonialists America-Britain and their regional henchman India as their guardians and friends, who are basically the masterminds of fascism. Just as the fallen Hasina government implemented India’s conspiracy by creating a division between our Army and BDR, similarly now in the interests of America, its agents are trying to create a division among our military. However, everyone should learn from history – Colonialists use these agents like tissue paper to achieve their economic and geopolitical interests, and when the agents become isolated from people, they change their faces. We want to warn the revolutionary youth that depending on these international communities for politics is suicidal, because for their colonialist interests they will not wait for a moment to abandon you and bring any fascist force back to power. By now, you must have received an indication of the rehabilitation of the fascist Awami League from Tulsi Gabbard’s visit to India. Therefore, you must not become foot soldiers of the Colonialist America, but must rely on the power of the people to confront any fascist forces and their masterminds. “Subservience or political struggle – political struggle, political struggle”; “compromise or struggle – struggle, struggle” – you must maintain this spirit that you uttered during July uprising.

Finally, Hizb ut Tahrir’s open call to the aware people and the youths, sincere politicians and intellectuals, and the military, you must be vocal against the political rehabilitation of any fascist force and must be united in protecting country’s sovereignty so that their mastermind – the US-UK-India nexus cannot dominate the country. And you must be united in confronting USA-India’s conspiracy against Islam and the country. Allah ﷻ says,

﴿لاَ يَتَّخِذْ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنْ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً وَيُحَذِّرُكُمْ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ﴾

 “Let not believers take disbelievers as allies [i.e., supporters or protectors] rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing [i.e., no association] with Allāh” [Surah Ali-Imran: 28].
