The New Waqf (Amendment) Bill is yet another Blatant Step to systematically turn Muslims Statelessness by the Hindutva State of India
To erase the thousand-year-old tradition of Muslim rule in India and to systematically turn the Muslims Stateless, the Hindutva state of India has demolished the Babri Masjid and built a temple, demolished the grave of Aurangzeb, enacted the new Citizenship Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC), and finally passed the new Waqf (Amendment) Bill. According to Islamic Sharia, ‘Waqf’ is property donated in the path of Allah which is used for the spread of Islam and the greater welfare of the Muslim community such as in mosques, madrasas, orphanages, cemeteries and other Islamic establishments. This property is a trust on behalf of the waqf donor to the Muslim Ummah, which will be considered as waqf property until the Day of Judgment, and it is mandatory to use this property according to the will of the waqf donor. The more than 872 thousand waqf properties existing in India serve as a social shield for the helpless Muslims of India who are constantly facing Hindutva attacks. But in India, for a long time with government and political patronage Hindus have been demolishing and occupying various structures on Waqf properties. In January 2025, the local administration of the Hindutva Modi government demolished 250 structures under the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board. And now, by enacting a law mandating the appointment of two Hindu members each in the Central Waqf Council and the State Waqf Board and even allowing them to be the Chief Executives of the Board, Hindus have established legal control over Muslim Waqf properties. Through this law, a conspiracy has been devised to make Muslims even weaker, helpless and socio-economically insecure under Hindutva rule. This is just a continuation of anti-Muslim black laws like the Citizenship Amendment Act-2019 (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC), through which the Hindutva government of India is trying to systematically turn Muslims into stateless and landless refugees by abusing state power and legal framework to the maximum.
Just as the illegal state of Israel has attempted to make the Muslims of Palestine landless and stateless by passing laws and violating sanctity of the lands – that was declared Waqf by the Prophet (ﷺ) and Khalifah Umar (R.A.), Hindutva India is also following the same heinous process. Just as the Zionist Israel is attempting to demolish hundreds of mosques and thousands of years of historical Muslim structures in Palestine to the ground with missiles and bulldozers, Hindutva India has also chosen the same path. Allah (ﷻ) says, “You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allāh” [Surah Al-Ma’idah: 82].
It is clear to the Muslim Ummah that this oppression and tyranny is being committed against Muslims worldwide with the direct support of the Kafir Colonialist powers, especially the United States, and with the stony silence of their agent Muslim rulers. You must have witnessed that the agents of the West immediately sent troops to help with the earthquake in Myanmar, but remain silent about sending troops to protect the Muslims of Palestine. Because these agents are not the true guardians of the Muslim Ummah. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Indeed, the Imam (Caliph) is a shield under which you fight and protect yourselves with” [Sahih Muslim]. Therefore, we must immediately take steps in establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate)- the true guardian of the Muslim Ummah, and unite with Hizb ut Tahrir– the party that leads the establishment of the Khilafah upon the method of the Prophethood. The upcoming Khilafah State will unite the Muslim military forces and liberate all the occupied Muslim lands including Palestine and Arakan, and according to the glad tidings (Ghazwatul Hind) of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), will free India from the clutches of the Hindutva rulers who succeeded the tyrant King Dahir and bring it under the shade of Islam, InshaAllah.
﴿ وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لاَ يَحْتَسِبُ وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا ﴾
“Indeed, Allāh will accomplish His purpose. Allāh has already set for everything a [decreed] extent (days and times)” [Surah At-Talaq: 3].
