To hold on to Power, Hasina and her Establishment are ruling the People like the Transgressor Pharaoh; “And the Plan of Pharaoh was not except in Ruin” [Surah Ghafir: 37]
On the order of Hasina to suppress university students’ demands for quota reform (reducing the existing 56% quota to merit-based recruitment) her party’s hooligans and security forces went on a nationwide rampage with iron rods, batons, lethal weapons and ammunitions. Hundreds of students were bloodied in this attack, especially female students were heavily assaulted by Hasina’s party hooligans. When the injured students went to the hospital for treatment, they attacked the injured in the emergency department of the hospital due to the silent role of the police, as a result, many ran away from the hospital to save their lives without receiving treatment. Students of schools, colleges and private universities across the country also took the streets to protest against this brutal attack and people from all walks of life erupted in anger. Failing to control the protests, the government deployed the Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB), imposed internet blackouts and curfews, and held people hostage. When the general people resisted to protect their children from the attacks of Hasina’s party’s hooligans, the security forces fired indiscriminately, killing scores of people indiscriminately with sniper rifles, even using helicopters and armored tanks used in the infamous UN mission. Even, a child on the roof of a building was shot in the head, fired from a helicopter and eventually died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical Hospital. “Pharaoh said, “We will kill their sons and keep their women alive; and indeed, we are subjugators over them” [Surah Al-Araf: 127].
O People! You must have noticed that the Hasina government cannot provide employment to university students, but brutally suppresses any demand for employment including quota reform; Although it fails to make the roads safe, it does not fail to brutally suppress the students protesting for safe roads; keeping the BGB inactive to protect the border, while using them to suppress people’s movements; although it did not protect the Aqeeda of Muslims from the attacks of the Islam hatred groups, but fired indiscriminately at the crowd of ulama’s and Islam loving Peoples; couldn’t pay teachers, but sent them home with pepper spray and severe beatings; didn’t provide basic needs and sustenance to the people, instead attacked the auto-rickshaw drivers with ammunition who came to the capital for livelihood; collects extra electricity bills from people for capacity charges, but threatens to punish them by turning off power if they protest load shedding; Hasina has constantly ignored the sufferings of the people; she claims herself a servant of the people, but shows arrogance in her behavior and engages in enmity with the people. Over all, Hasina thinks she is the owner of the country just like the transgressor Pharaoh. “And Pharaoh called out among his people; he said, ‘O my people, does not the kingdom of Egypt belong to me, and these rivers flowing beneath me; then do you not see?’” [Az-Zukhruf: 51].
O People! As you have witnessed, Hasina has divided the people of the country to perpetuate her rule by favoring a group and oppressing the larger group. She is constantly generating hatred among the people, pitting one party against the other, and by creating chaos and communal riots in the country she is imposing oppression on the people; she has turned some localities into zero-man left through disappearances, murders, lawsuits and attacks. “Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters” [al-Qasas: 4].
O Sincere Officers in the Military! You have witnessed how the unarmed youths stood fearlessly against Hasina’s tyranny by spilling their fresh blood. Then despite having the military power in your hands what are you doing? The corrupt Hasina government has destroyed the country’s economy and people’s livelihood, is selling the country’s interests to colonialist Kafirs to stay in power, and secure its staying in power through fitna and fasad. We want to warn you, if you follow the Pharaonic command of Hasina government, you will have to face the same fate as Pharaoh’s soldiers. “So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them” [Surah Taha: 78]. So we call upon you, to liberate the people permanently from this tyranny, remove the Hasina government and grant nussrah to Hizb ut tahrir in the establishment of Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood.
