The Excitement among the Awami-BNP Ruling Elites over Donald Lu’s Visit to Bangladesh is a Manifestation of their political Bankruptcy
The visit of US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia Donald Lu to Bangladesh, is a cause of excitement for the country’s Awami-BNP ruling elites, but it is unwanted and rejected by the people. Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud said about Donald Lu’s visit, “Bangladesh’s relationship with the United States is better than any time in the past. Donald Lu is coming to Dhaka to take this relationship to a higher level. We will also try to strengthen this relationship”. On the other hand, the languishing BNP group is once again vocal in the political arena hoping to gain his grace. Some so-called agent intellectuals and political analysts who are ignorant of the world system and politics are busy analyzing the explanation of US-China geopolitical hegemony to attract public attention by asserting their level of intelligence. But someone has little awareness knows that the United States is a neo-colonialist power in the present world, and ‘democracy and human rights’ is it’s mask. Therefore, the main objective of the U.S top diplomat Donald Lu’s visit to Bangladesh is to bring momentum to the implementation of their colonial projects in the name of ‘Free and Open Indo-Pacific Vision’. These projects include, establishment of Matarbari deep sea port, ACSA (Acquisition cross-servicing agreement) – GSOMIA (General security of military information agreement), formation of military alliance, allotment of oil-gas (hydrocarbon) blocks in deep sea port to new East-India company ‘ExxonMobil’. Allah (swt) says, “If they gain dominance over you, they would be [i.e. behave] to you as enemies and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they wish you would disbeliever” [Al-Mumtahina: 2]. The secular Awami-BNP ruling classes are helping to establish the U.S neo-colonialism over the country to stay in power or ascend to power, which is as clear as daylight to the conscious people of the country. Because of which, the Awami-BNP ruling classes is politically bankrupt and disconnected from the people.
O Those Who are Sincere Politicians and Intellectuals! You are aware of how the Western Kafir Colonialists have plunged mankind into war and disaster in the name of peace! Allah (swt) warns about them, “And when it is said to them, “Do not cause corruption on the earth”. They say, “We are but reformers”. Unquestionably, it is they who are the corrupters but they perceive [it] not” [Surah Baqarah: 11-12]. We would like to remind you of the example of At-Tufayl Ibn Amr Ad-Dawsi (a great poet and a very intelligent man of that time) who ignored the tricks of the Quraish, the ignorant ruling elites of Makkah, and followed the true and perfect ideal of Islam revealed to the Prophet ﷺ. You should get out of blindly following the West’s trickery and secular ideals, and unite with the truthful party Hizb ut Tahrir in intellectual and political struggle to resist neo-colonialism. As you are aware, Hizb ut Tahrir has been carrying out a worldwide intellectual and political struggle to liberate the Muslim Ummah from the colonialism of the West by re-establishing the Khilafah (Caliphate) and has been calling to the sincere officers in the military to provide nussrah for the re-establishment of the Khilafah. Only the upcoming Khilafah will change the present unethical and inhumane Colonialist-Capitalist world order to form a just and humane world order. Allah (swt) says,
﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلاَّ رَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ﴾
“We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds” [Surah Ambiya: 107].
