Hizb ut Tahrir Organized a Demonstration at Baitul Mukarram North Gate,
Demanding the Establishment of the Khilafah on the Method of the Prophethood to be Free from the Ruling of Tyranny
Hizb ut Tahrir, Wilayah Bangladesh, today (09/08/2024) Friday Bad Jumu’ah organized a demonstration at the North Gate of the Central Mosque, Baitul Mukarram, in the heart of Dhaka. Thousands of leaders-activists-supporters of Hizb ut Tahrir and general Muslims came down to street with the sound of takbeer, they chanted slogans like: Khilafah (Caliphate) will bring tyrant Hasina into Trial and Punishment; Only path for the Liberation, Al-Khilafah; Only path of RasulAllah, Al-Khilafah; Immediately we need, the government of Al-Khilafah.
Following are the issues highlighted by the speakers in their speeches at the gathering:
O People, The Prophet ﷺ said, “Indeed, the Almighty Allah gives respite to the oppressor so that when He (Allah) seizes him (the oppressor) in such a way that he does not find relief” (Sahih Muslim). The downfall of tyrant Hasina is a warning to all tyrants and oppressors. The infamous “Ayna Ghar” (Mirror house), the torture cell of the Bangladesh Defense Force’s Counter-Terrorism Intelligence Bureau (CTIB), the office of the Detective Branch (DB) and the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), are some of the examplesof how systematic the Hasina government’s repression was! Western Kafir colonialists including US-Britain-India who supported this Hasina have today thrown away this agent like tissue paper. Therefore, the demand of the people to those who have taken the responsibility of governing the country should be to immediately bring the tyrant Hasina and her henchmen into trial and punishment, and express their loyalty and commitment to the people. “And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do” (Surah Ibrahim: 42).
O People, The current secular democratic-capitalist system is the factory of producing tyrannical rulers. Because in this system, the rulers have the sovereign power, who, while sitting in power, protect their own interests, the interests of their Kafir Colonialists, US-Britain-India, and the interest of some domestic and foreign Capitalists, and oppress the greater population. And when the people raised their just demands, the government suppressed them and imprisoned them in prisons like the “Ayna Ghar” (Mirror house). Allah ﷻ says, “And those who do not govern according to what Allah has revealed – they are the Zalim (tyrant)” [Surah Mayidah: 45].
O People, You have to demand to be governed by the constitution of the Islamic State i.e. Khilafah based on the Qur’an and Sunnah. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever begins his day feeling family security and good health; and possessing provision for his day is as if he possessed the whole world” (Sahih Tirmidhi). Only through the implementation of Shari’ah Law can ensure “Food-Clothes-Shelter, Education-Medical-Security” for all citizens irrespective of religion-race-colors. Domestic and foreign companies should be evicted from the energy sector, including oil-gas-electricity, and they should be declared public property and brought under state management, and the revenue obtained from them should be used for the welfare of the citizens. Because according to Shari’ah, these are public assets (property owned by the public) which is forbidden to lease or privatize. On the authority of Ibn Abbas (RA), the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “The Muslims (citizens) share three things: water, pasture and fire” (Abu Dawud). Anas (RA) narrated from Ibn Abbas, “And taking its price is Haraam (forbidden)”. All strategic agreements (eg. transit, Matarbari deep sea port, treaties related to Indo-Pacific strategy, etc.) and military agreements with Kaffir Colonialist States must be canceled. Allah ﷻ says, “If they could dominate you, they would engage in enmity against you, and extend their hands and arms to harm you, and their desire is that you should join the ranks of the disbelievers” [Surah Mumtahina: 02].
O People, the Prophet ﷺ said, “…then there will be end of tyranny, and then there will be Khilafah on the method of Prophethood” (Musnad Ahmad). It is clear from this hadith that the end of this tyranny will be only through the establishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate) promised by Allah ﷻ. And the country will be free from the grip of Kafir Colonialists. So demanding the establishment of Khilafah is a duty from our Iman for every Muslim. The last speaker, concluded his speech by urging People from all walks of life to come forward to establish a Khilafah on the method of Prophethood under the leadership of Hizb ut Tahrir.
