American Aggression in Venezuela:
The Imminent Khilafah Will Stand Up to American Aggression Worldwide
Today, Friday (9 January 2026), protest gatherings were organized after Jumu‘ah prayers at various mosque premises in Dhaka and Chattogram by Hizb ut tahrir, Wilayah Bangladesh. The title of the protests was: ‘U.S. Aggression in Venezuela: The Imminent Khilafah Will Stand Up to American Aggression Worldwide.’ The key points of the speaker’s statements at the gatherings were as follows:
The global criminal United States launched an attack on Venezuela and captured the country’s long-serving president, Nicolás Maduro. The United States views Venezuela and other Latin American countries as her ‘backyard’ and believes she has the right to their resources. In December 2025, the Trump administration released the ‘Trump Corollary,’ which stated: ‘Political, economic, and military affairs of the Western Hemisphere (North and South America) must remain under U.S. control, and the U.S. military will be directly used to extract the region’s mineral resources.’ This ‘Trump Corollary’ is a modern version of the 18th-century ‘Monroe Doctrine,’ a policy formulated when the United States was merely a regional power in the Americas and could not even imagine extending its influence across the Atlantic. Under the guise of reviving this old doctrine, the United States is now aggressively expanding its dominance over South America.
This is not the first incident, nor will it be the last if the United States is not stopped. America’s long-standing strategy is either to incite an internal coup by using hers intelligence agencies, or to create a leadership vacuum through military intervention, which is then filled by one of America’s agents. In this case, the most likely candidate is the pro-American Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado—who was recently awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and whose international profile is being deliberately cultivated.
O Muslims, O people of the world! How do we still accept America as the leading state of the world? The United States is behaving with extreme arrogance and audacity—trampling upon the security of states and international norms. America no longer possesses any ideological agenda worthy of leading the world. It has itself devoured the so-called freedom, democracy, and human rights that it once promoted. Gaza has clearly exposed the falsehood of these claimed ideals and America’s blatant double standards.
O Muslims! Who, other than you, can lead humanity out of the deepening darkness of American hegemony? Only you possess a just alternative to the decaying capitalism that has establish injustice throughout the world. The fall of the Khilafah on 28 Rajab 1342 AH was not merely a loss for the Ummah—it was a profound loss for all of humanity. For more than a century, the world has been plagued by the barbaric principle of ‘might is right.’ Today, Allah ﷻ has prepared the global conditions for your return as the just leadership of humankind. Therefore, gather your resolve and strive to establish the Khilafah upon the Method of Prophethood. Allah ﷻ will aid you and remove injustice from the earth through your hands.
﴿وَمَا كُنَّا مُهۡلِكِى الۡقُرٰٓى اِلَّا وَاَهۡلُهَا ظٰلِمُوۡن﴾
“…And We would not destroy the cities except while their people were wrongdoers.” (Surat Al-Qaşaş: 59)
