Allah (swt) revealed Islam as a complete and comprehensive system for governing all of life’s affairs. And He (swt) mandated that Islam be implemented through ruling and it is taken as the sole basis of ruling. Allah (swt) says,
And in order that people do not implement Islam according to whatever form of ruling their whims and desires guide them to Allah (swt) mandated a specific and distinguished form of ruling. RasulAllah (saw) said,
He (saw) clarified by this hadith that the Islamic ruling is the Khilafah state where a Khaleefah receives bay’ah from the people, i.e. he takes his authority from the people who elect him freely through their bay’ah given to him to look after their affairs in accordance with the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Therefore the Islamic ruling is not monarchical where the ruler is a king who inherits the rule from his father. It is not dictatorial where one man achieves authority by force and rules the people by force. And the Islamic ruling is not democratic where the people elect their representatives to makes laws for them; Islam absolutely rejects the man-made democratic system innovated by the West because in Islam sovereignty belongs to Allah (swt) and the laws for the people is the Shari’ah of Allah (swt), not the laws passed by corrupt politicians.
For the Muslims to live under and be ruled by a ruling system other than the Khilafah system is a grave sin, whether it was a monarchical, dictatorial, or democratic or any other ruling system. And for however long they remained living under and being ruled by a ruling system other than the Khilafah then their living under such a system would be a life in Jahiliyyah and their dying under such a system would be a death of Jahiliyyah. RasulAllah (saw) said,
The meaning of the hadith is clear and unambiguous. For the Muslims to be living in a situation when there does not exist the Khilafah state, where the ba’yah is given to a Khaleefah to rule the people by Islam and they were to die while the situation remained as such then their death would be a death of Jahiliyyah, i.e. they will be greatly sinful if they were not engaged in the work for establishing the Khilafah. This is the meaning by which the above hadith is narrated in other books of narration - “Whoever dies while there was no Imam of the Jama’ah ruling over him, he would die the death of Jahiliyyah.”
The Sahabah (ra) agreed upon the seriousness of the Khilafah after the death of RasulAllah (saw), where they engaged themselves in appointing the Khaleefah though it is known that the burial of the dead person is obligatory. The Sahabah that were obliged to engage in preparing the burial of the RasulAllah (saw) engaged themselves in appointing a Khaleefah instead. The RasulAllah (saw) passed away on Monday morning and He (saw) remained without burial throughout that day and night. Only after Abu Bakr (ra) was given the bay’ah as the Khaleefah, then RasulAllah (saw) was buried, on Tuesday night. This means the burial was delayed two nights, and Abu Bakr (ra) was given the bay’ah before the burial of RasulAllah (saw). This could not have been legitimate unless the appointment of a Khaleefah was more obligatory than the burial of the dead person; moreover it was delaying the burial of RasulAllah (saw) Himself.
Such is the importance of the obligation of re-establishing the Khilafah by removing the current regimes. Whoever died under the current kufr regimes without working to remove them and re-establish the Khilafah he is considered by Islam to have died a death of Jahiliyyah. So whoever dies now while Hasina is ruling in the land today and they did not work to remove her and re-establish the Khilafah then their death is a death of Jahiliyyah, even if we prayed, fasted, gave the zakah and performed the hajj. And if Khaleda was to become the ruler tomorrow, then whoever dies while Khaleda is ruling in the land and they did not work to remove her and re-establish the Khilafah then their death is a death of Jahiliyyah, even if we prayed, fasted, gave the zakah and performed the hajj.
Look around you, oh Muslims. Is it not indeed the case that Jahiliyyah is all prevailing under this Hasina-Khaleda regime? Rampant corruption and looting of people’s wealth is the business of government and state. Abductions and killings are a matter of daily routine. Murder by hacking and burning people to death is carried out within seconds, without a second thought. Bribing officials is essential for fulfilling our needs such as getting electricity and bribing judges is the law of the courts for getting our rights. The poor, the needy and the orphans are neglected by the rulers just as the chiefs of Makkah used to do. Maltreatment of women at home and work, riba in the banks, cheating in the market place, lewdness on the streets, parks and lakes, Hollywood and Bollywood style concerts indoors, outdoors and on the sea shores… Constant vilification of the Deen, the Qur’an and our beloved Prophet (saw). The list is endless. And all of these are either direct actions of the regime or licenced by it or the results of it’s kufr policies.
Save yourselves from the death of Jahiliyyah. Your current life is a life of hardship, misery and sufferings. Seek the pleasure of the Afterlife. Seek the meeting with your Lord in happiness with your record in your right hands. Work for removing this regime and establishing the Khilafah which will bring you the good in the Akhira and change your hard conditions in the dunya.
Do not think that the change is impossible and Hasina or Khaleda Zia or their inheritors will inherit the rule no matter what you do. The law of Allah (swt) is contrary to that and His law does not change. And His law is that changing the situation of a people requires for them to take the action and then with His Help the change is achieved by the people.
Do not refrain from the action for change thinking that change will be far from now. Remember that the Khilafah is the Prophecy of RasulAllah (saw). In front of your eyes you are witnessing how thrones of tyrants are being shaken the world over and the masters of these tyrants, the Americans and the Europeans in particular, are weak in helping these tyrants or executing their policies. This only points to the near end of current oppressive rule and the near return of the Khilafah.
Therefore join Hizb ut Tahrir and demand from the sincere officers in the military, those of them whom you know from your near and close ones, to remove Sheikh Hasina and transfer the authority to Hizb ut Tahrir. This is the one point plan which most definitely will bring the change.
Oh People of Power, the Sincere Officers in the Military!
Were any one of you to be asked whether you would want your death to be a death of Jahiliyyah, your answer would most definitely be an emphatic “No.” The clear message has now reached you and you have come to know that you cannot avoid the death of Jahiliyyah if that happened under the current regime. So decide correctly about this matter; undertake the action to remove this regime and transfer the authority to us to establish the Khilafah. And know that there is great reward of being the Ansar and providing the support (Nusrah) in establishing the Khilafah.
